Fun with Dry Ice

Here are some photos I took quite a while ago, and I don’t believe I ever shared them on social media, so I’ll put them up here now.

Just added water

Then the sink began to fill with vapor

Then it got hard to see the pot

Cool shapes occasionally emerged

Another shape

Then the sink was a solid wall of settled, white vapor. How cool is this?!

Then it began spilling over the edge of the lip of the sink

 

So smart guy here picks up the pot with his bare hands (DO NOT DO THIS I AM AN IDIOT)

Once I moved it, the vapor began to bounce around and flow

 

So I thought it would look cool pouring out. I was right!

 

It looked even cooler pouring onto the granite

I ran out of water before I ran out of dry ice. This is what it looked like. The pan was nearly full to bursting when I started.
